My Statement:

 

My illustration and animation work has always held a sense of balance- taking extremes from all ends of the spectrum and making it into something meaningful. My work is everything but an empty shell; it makes you think, it makes you want to analyze, it makes you ask why. Why take something undeniably happy and plague it with something sad? Why take something numb and make it start to feel? Why take a rainbow and desaturate it?

Art is about feeling, whether its joy, confusion, or something you’ve never felt before- that is what being a creator is all about. Make the consumer consume, and leave them wanting more.
